Kaizen Approach, Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support an information assurance program.

The ISSO will implement and enforce security policies, perform day-to-day security operations, and prepare documentation for security authorization in accordance with DoD and ODNI policies. The role requires coordinating with senior ISSOs and the ISSM, managing system security plans, and conducting risk assessments to maintain an optimal cybersecurity posture across

Qualifications

• Eight years of combined work-related experience in IT, cybersecurity, or security authorization (twelve years if no bachelor’s degree).
• DoD 8570 compliant with IAM I required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Support a program by collaborating with senior ISSOs and the ISSM to implement, enforce, and maintain information security policies and a strong Cybersecurity posture.
• Assist with management of security aspects of information systems, day-to-day security operations, and system authorization activities.
• Develop, maintain, and review System Security Plans and other documentation for security authorization per ODNI/DoD policies.
• Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information and support security authorization activities.
• Provide configuration management for security software/hardware/firmware; manage system changes and assess security impact; maintain asset records for devices.
• Plan and coordinate IT security program implementations; ensure proper user identification/authentication and ongoing policy compliance.
• Provide daily oversight to contractor ISSOs and interact with customers and senior officers to achieve cybersecurity objectives.
