Job summary

9th Way Insignia seeks a Senior Informatica PowerCenter Migration Engineer to lead ETL modernization efforts in an OCI cloud environment. You will assess, migrate, validate, and optimize PowerCenter workflows while coordinating with Oracle and EDW teams.

Strong SQL/PLSQL, Unix scripting, and clear communication are essential. Applicants must have 10+ years in ETL, a technical degree, and the ability to obtain VA suitability and security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, developing, and troubleshooting Informatica PowerCenter ETL workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience migrating or upgrading large-scale ETL platforms with testing and data validation.
• Strong Oracle SQL/PL/SQL skills and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and production ETL scheduling/operations.
• Hands-on cloud implementation experience; OCI experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Informatica PowerCenter ETL workflows, repositories, dependencies, source-to-target mappings, schedules and procedures.
• Configure and support Informatica PowerCenter components in the OCI cloud environment.
• Plan and execute migration of Informatica ETL processes across development, UAT, and production environments.
• Validate migrated ETL streams to ensure source-to-target accuracy and no data loss.
• Develop automated data-reconciliation processes and runbooks; troubleshoot ETL failures and performance bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Oracle, GoldenGate, cloud, networking, security, and EDW teams on migration readiness.
