Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and follow all Office of Child Care Regulations.
  2. Effectively communicate daily with potential families, current families, children, admin, and teachers.
  3. Maintain a culture of accountability and growth.
  4. Identify areas for growth or improvement, and proactively problem-solve and present resolutions.
  5. Communicate effectively with parents and team members.
  6. Provide a safe learning environment for children.
  7. Create and implement developmentally appropriate daily lessons and activities.
Qualifications
  1. Qualified as a Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher through MSDE Office of Child Care.
  2. 45-Hour Growth and Development Certificate.
  3. 45-Hour Preschool Curriculum Certificate OR 45-Hour Infant/Toddler Curriculum Certificate.
  4. 9-Hour Communication Certificate OR any completed college course.
  5. At least 1 year of experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  6. Basic Health & Safety Training.
  7. ADA Certificate.
  8. Must pass all criminal background checks and health screenings.
  9. Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  11. Problem-solving and mediation skills.
