The Goddard School located in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and nurture a safe, engaging classroom. Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, with a focus on strong family communications and collaborative teamwork.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma with preference for an associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and CDA credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool.
• Background check required.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families, and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans to support growth.
• Classroom management: Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive environment.
• Family communication: Maintain open contact with families about progress and activities.
• Health and safety: Supervise activities adhering to licensing regulations and well-being.
• Professional development: Engage in ongoing training to enhance teaching skills.
• Assessment and documentation: Observe and document children's learning to inform activities.
• Team collaboration: Support Assistant and Resource Teachers for a collaborative environment.
