The Goddard School of South Loop in Chicago, IL is seeking a Lead Infant Toddler Teacher Part Time to support multiple classrooms throughout the school day. This role emphasizes safety, nurturing environments, and age-appropriate learning experiences.

You will collaborate with families and staff, maintain portfolios, and participate in ongoing professional growth. Must meet Illinois DCFS requirements; CO-VID vaccinated. This part-time position offers meaningful daily impact.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
• Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
• Ensure that children are always within state ratio requirements
• Perform cleaning responsibilities (e.g., spills) immediately
• Advance children's physical and intellectual competence
• Adapt program to meet the individual needs of each child
• Create a multi-cultural learning environment
• Provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities to engage children in learning
• Respect cultural and ethnic diversity
• Communicate, in a professional manner, with families and faculty
• Encourage families to become an integral part of their children's learning experiences
• Maintain a portfolio for each child
• Maintain the classroom Parent Board
• Perform child observations and document in portfolios, Use assessment tools (e.g., Progress Reports, Children’s Progress)
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities.

Lead Infant Toddler Teacher Part Time

The Goddard School of South Loop - Chicago, IL

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM.

The Goddard School of South Loop is looking for a dependable, nurturing and energetic Lead Infant Toddler Teacher Part Time to support our classrooms throughout the school day.

What You'll Do
