Job summary

The Learning Experience Fort Collins is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide an infant classroom and collaborate with fellow educators. You will mentor junior staff, model best practices, and ensure a safe, engaging learning space that supports each child’s growth.

You will implement our LEAP Curriculum® for infants and maintain open communication with families about daily activities and milestones. Join a team dedicated to joyful early education and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an infant classroom, partnering with other lead teachers.
• Coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Responsible for overall classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire learning.
• Implement LEAP Curriculum® with infants, adapting to each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's adventures and achievements.
• Support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.
