The Goddard School of Stony Brook, NY is seeking Lead Teachers to join our fun working environment. Positions are available for Infants & Toddlers Teachers. This is a full-time position 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  1. Creating and executing lesson plans based on the NYS Early Learning Guidelines which enable children to observe, question, and investigate.
  2. Adapting lesson plans to meet the individual needs and interests of all students.
  3. Observing and evaluating children's academic performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
  4. Meeting with parents and/or guardians to discuss their child's progress and needs.
  5. Maintaining accurate attendance and health records as required by law, New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and The Goddard School.
  6. Attending professional development meetings and completing all required in-person and online trainings.
  7. Providing an exciting, challenging, safe, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in.

Salary will depend on experience. New teachers are welcome to apply.
