The Goddard School of Stony Brook, NY is seeking Lead Teachers to join our fun working environment. Positions are available for Lead Infants & Toddlers Teachers. This is a full-time position 5 days a week.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for the following:

• Creating and executing lesson plans based on the NYS Early Learning Guidelines which enable children to observe, question, and investigate.
• Adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs and interests of all students.
• Observe and Evaluate children's academic performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
• Meet with parents and/or guardians to discuss their child's progress and needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance and health records as required by law, New York State Office of Children and Family Services, and The Goddard School.
• Attend professional development meetings and complete all required in-person and online trainings.
• Provide an exciting, challenging, safe, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in.
