Duties / Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development and a genuine love for working with Infant / toddlers. You will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment where our little ones can explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for Infant / toddlers and their families.
  • Use art, theatre, music, story times, observation and reflection, nature walks, etc. to implement lessons. Promoting constructive purposeful play.
  • Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records and communicating progress with parents.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the creative curriculum is a definite plus.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Maintain physical fitness for the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Possess excellent mediation skills to resolve conflicts and promote harmony.
