Job summary

Primrose School of Castle Rock is looking for a Lead Infant Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment at 5885 New Abbey Ln, Castle Rock, CO. You’ll implement the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum with your co-teacher and help infants grow language, literacy, science, and life skills.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm) with a competitive hourly range of $22.00-$25.00 based on credentials, plus benefits and an engaging,

Qualifications

• Lead Teachers- PDIS 2, CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree required
• Previous experience as a teacher in licensed early childhood education, PreK, preschool, childcare, day care center, or education
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of childcare programs and child safety

Responsibilities

• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum
• Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Castle Rock, and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.

As an Lead Infant Teacher at the Primrose School of Castle Rock you’ll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop children’s confidence and independence. Our teachers help guide and care for infants through a variety of instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.
