JCYS in Chicago is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Infant Room in Lincoln Square/Ravenswood. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities, foster a warm environment, and supervise children across classrooms and on trips.
You will also email daily updates to families and coordinate with staff to ensure a safe, nurturing program. The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s in early childhood education, at least 2 years of experience with children, and DCFS standards compliance.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
