Job summary

Engineering Resource Group, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer to manage the full structural scope of industrial projects from concept to detailed engineering.

You will develop economical, buildable designs by analyzing customer specifications and site data, perform STAAD/FEA calculations, and ensure drawings convey engineering intent. Coordinate with disciplines, review outputs, and support field inspections and proposals. BS in Civil/Structural Eng is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Experience with large industrial heat-transfer or process equipment structures is a plus.
• Familiarity with fabrication and welding procedures and ASME/AWS codes is a plus.
• Willingness to assume full ownership of a project and balance technical performance with cost.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete structural scope of industrial projects from conceptual design through detailed engineering.
• Develop economical, buildable structural designs by analyzing customer specifications and load data.
• Perform calculations and computer analysis using STAAD, FEM methods, and standard structural tools.
• Review and check output from designers, drafters, and fabrication vendors for technical accuracy.
• Follow designs through drafting to ensure drawings clearly convey engineering intent.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, and other disciplines to verify structural adequacy.
• Contribute to new product development and devise structural solutions for client needs.
• Occasional field travel for inspection and support for sales and proposals.
