Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician - Spartanburg, SC

Join Honeywell as a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician in Spartanburg, SC. This full-time role offers various shifts including Day, Swing, and Night. You will provide advanced technical support within our Industrial Automation (IA) business unit, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure successful implementation of solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager, you will be based at our Spartanburg location and impact the safety, productivity, and efficiency of our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues for customers.
  • Providing expert support for IA solutions.
  • Collaborating with teams for seamless solution deployment.
  • Leading training sessions for customers and technicians.
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and recommending improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters, control panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
  • Performing preventive and reactive maintenance.
  • Using CMMS to report work orders and breakdown data.
  • Maintaining electrical and mechanical MHE components, including conveyor systems and robotics.
  • Adjusting and maintaining scanners, cameras, field buses, and printers.
  • Replacing and repairing belts, chains, cables, and wear parts.
  • Calibrating and lubricating equipment as needed.
  • Following safety protocols and company procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds individually, 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Working above head for extended periods, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
