Job summary
East Coast Construction Services LLC (ECCS) in Raleigh, NC seeks a Journeyman Electrician to lead industrial electrical and control projects across the Southeast. You'll mentor apprentices, install, troubleshoot, and commission systems, and read blueprints and control drawings.
You will work with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, switchgear, and instrumentation, ensure safe, high-quality, code-compliant work, and travel as needed to support complex jobs. Emphasis on safety, craftsmanship, and leadership.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Experience leading crews in an industrial environment.
- Experience working on medium voltage projects.
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial power systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor crews of apprentices and helpers.
- Install, troubleshoot, and commission industrial electrical and control systems.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and control drawings (preferred).
- Ensure safe, high-quality, code-compliant work.
- Support project success through leadership, technical expertise, and teamwork.
