Job summary

Micro Control Company in Minneapolis seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the full product lifecycle of MCC burn-in systems, designing and automating industrial electromechanical systems, and aligning power delivery and machine control architectures with customer needs.

You will develop schematics, select hardware, create verifications, and collaborate across Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Field Service to ensure reliable, manufacturable solutions and support

Qualifications

• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in industrial system design.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to guide cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with industrial power systems and automation of electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of MCC burn-in systems from concept to manufacturing and field deployment.
• Develop automation architectures including PLC, distributed I/O, and HMI integration.
• Produce schematics, BOMs, and verification tests; specify hardware and components.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Field Service to resolve issues.
