Job summary

Green Home Solutions of Central Washington is seeking a Mold Remediation Technician to inspect homes and spaces, discuss remediation options, and communicate results to clients. The role involves on-site work with a focus on indoor air quality and mold remediation services.

The position requires a strong safety mindset, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and dependable transportation. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Requires high school education or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR required.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and carry equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads supplies and equipment into/out of vehicles and keeps materials organized.
• Drives a company van equipped with cleaning equipment to work sites.
• Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers for moisture removal.
• Performs basic demolition tasks (cutting drywall, removing baseboards, flooring) and applies fungicide.
• Provides exceptional customer service and communicates issues to the job leader.
• Follows safety practices and wears PPE (gloves, respirators, Tyvek suit) as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site.
• Evaluates client properties to identify indoor environmental issues and recommend solutions.

The Mold Remediation Technician will meet with interested clients to inspect their homes/business spaces, discuss the results, and inform them of remediation options.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.

Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.

Assists in placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air.

Performs basic demo tasks—cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays fungicide and other materials.

Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.

Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, Tyvek Suit) while working.

Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site

This position is responsible for evaluating Client properties to determine indoor environmental issues and formulating solutions.

• -Impeccable communication and follow up ability with Clients.
• -Ability to teach GHS/IICRC protocol, standards and vision to new Inspectors and Technicians.
• -Perform Commercial and Industrial IEP Consultations
• -ACAC Accreditation Required- CIEC
• -ACAC Accreditation Required- CMI
• -IICRC WRT Certification
• -IICRC AMRT Certification
• -IICRC Fire Restoration Certification
