Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant to protect organizations by leading incident response engagements and performing forensics across multiple platforms. You will hunt for threats, investigate intrusions with legal counsel where needed, and translate findings into actionable guidance for executives and clients.

Ideal candidates bring a mix of incident response expertise, malware understanding, and strong communication skills to influence customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a matrixed consulting environment.
• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for targeted threats.
• Background in computer forensics and network forensics using standard tools.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and log analysis.
• Ability to understand malware capabilities via static/dynamic analysis.
• Proven track record remediating targeted attacks and advising on containment.
• Experience in secure network design and cloud incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements end-to-end.
• Develop methods to hunt threats across large data sets.
• Coordinate investigations with outside counsel as needed.
• Perform host and network forensics on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Perform basic malware analysis and document findings.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Engage in thought leadership through public content and events.
