Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Implementation Team Lead in Meridian, ID to coach and mentor a team of Implementation Consultants. The role partners with managers to report staff performance, client issues, and improvement actions, driving quality metrics.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in implementation, a bachelor’s degree, and strong MS Office skills, with on-site work five days a week. Eligible for an annual bonus and RSU grants based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations for the designated team and delegate work.
  • Provide coaching and development to team members.
  • Lead regular meetings to set expectations and track progress.
  • Offer input on performance management, promotions, and issues.
  • Collaborate on best practices to improve team performance.
  • Troubleshoot client or department issues with a client-focused approach.
  • Maintain accountability to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Onboard new hires and coordinate with ISA Team and L&D for training.
  • Mentor peers and assist in handling client overflow calls.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Meridian, ID (In-Office only; remote or hybrid not available. Candidates must work on‑site five days per week during designated hours.)

Position Overview

The Implementation Team Lead will provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to Implementation Consultants, collaborating with them to identify successes and areas for improvement. The Team Lead assists Implementation Managers by delivering regular updates on staff performance, client issues, and departmental improvement actions, and by driving quality metrics. The role requires identifying and communicating gaps in training and performance trends, offering improvement solutions, and ensuring all critical implementation issues are resolved promptly and courteously.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Supervise operations for the designated team.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day work of the assigned group, including delegation of work assignments.
  • Provide support, coaching, and development to new and existing team members.
  • Facilitate communication and expectations through regular meetings, 1:1s, or team huddles.
  • Provide input and recommendations to managers regarding performance management, promotions, terminations, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with management on best practices and ways to improve team performance.
  • Troubleshoot escalated client or departmental issues and offer solutions aligned with client satisfaction and organizational direction.
  • Maintain accountability to meet defined KPIs.
  • Act as primary contact for new hires and partner with ISA Team and L&D to recommend supplemental training for all team members.
  • Use functional and technical knowledge to assist team members.
  • Assist in answering client overflow calls.
  • Mentor or coach peers as needed.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in an implementation role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Full understanding of Paylocity’s implementation standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation (typically 7–8 hours per day).
  • Use of computer and phone systems, operating multiple software programs simultaneously.

Pay range: $57,200 – $80,000 per year. The position may be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted‑stock‑unit grant based on individual performance. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) match, and other perks are provided.
