Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA-Immunology) to provide scientific leadership and oversight of epidemiology studies across immunology indications. You will guide study designs, analyses, and regulatory-aligned reporting while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced statistical expertise, and effective communication with sponsors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• SME in Immunology Clinical Trials.
• Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate).
• Requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs as well as relevant guidelines preferred;
• Requires basic knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python);
• Excellent communication, presentation, both written and spoken;
• Strong personal communication and team-oriented skills;
• Demonstrated leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a scientific resource for RWLP management, Company senior management, and other Functions within Company providing expertise in multiple scientific areas.
• Leads development and delivery of project proposals, bid defenses, and capabilities presentations.
• Provides scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversees study start-up and ongoing study management with project manager; develops/protocols and analysis plans; supports safety advisory boards and produces scientific reports.
• Keeps updated on clinical/epidemiological guidelines and trains RWLP/Company staff on study designs and guidelines.
• Supports organizational capacity and processes for non-traditional site management tasks and RWLP SOPs.
• Develops business opportunities in post-marketing safety commitments/risk management; suggests productivity and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Forges relationships with sponsors, thought-leaders and investigators.
• Develops abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts to promote company services.
