Job summary

George's Processing in the United States is seeking a Lead II to assist with setup, adjustment, maintenance, and configuration of processing equipment according to specifications. Regular communication with live production or debone teams and supervisors, and completion of required paperwork are essential.

The role involves starting and stopping equipment, performing visual inspections and documentation to ensure defect-free work, monitoring material flow, and assisting with break relief.

Qualifications

• Previous poultry processing experience preferred.
• No formal education required.

Responsibilities

• Turns on equipment at the beginning of shift and shuts down equipment at the end.
• Must do visual inspections and complete documentation during the run to ensure defect-free work.
• Monitor the flow of materials through machine.
• Performs minor changeovers on equipment as required, as well as change-over to proper raw material.
• Ensure that all equipment is on and functioning properly prior to starting a run; all conveyors are on.
• Must ensure proper coding is on the boxes/trays, cases and if applicable the graphics are acceptable.
• Clear machine of all products at end of each run and at the end of shift.
• Assist in relieving machine operators for breaks.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
