Job summary

St. Peters Rec-Plex seeks a Lead Ice Attendant to supervise ice area operations, assist in training staff, and ensure guest safety on NHL-sized rinks. Responsibilities include enforcing policies, responding to inquiries, and supporting events with a focus on service excellence.

The ideal candidate is 18+, holds a Missouri driver's license, is flexible to evenings, weekends and holidays, and able to operate or be trained on ice resurfacing equipment. A background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's license valid in Missouri.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings/mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to complete training on the ice resurfacing machine and ice edger.

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest inquiries.
• Ensure patron safety and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with special events as needed.

The St. Peters Rec-Plex, home to premier figure skating and hockey programs, is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Lead Ice Attendants. With three NHL-sized ice rinks at Rec-Plex North and two more at Rec-Plex South, we offer an exciting and dynamic work environment.

Summary of Position

Lead Ice Attendants have the responsibility to perform varied duties in the ice areas to include responding to customer needs, supervising and assisting with training of employees, assisting in assigning duties, operation of the ice resurfacing machine and ice edger, ensuring ice areas are clean and well maintained, and performing other assigned tasks as required.

• Must be able to successfully complete training on the ice resurfacing machine and ice edger

Working at St. Peters Rec-Plex offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant community, supporting exciting ice sports and events. This position is eligible to receive a $1.50 shift premium for hours worked as Lead, and/or eligible to receive a $5.00 shift premium for hours worked as Lead Driver.
