Job summary

DQS Inc. is seeking a Lead Auditor- IATF in the Operations department to lead audit teams and manage audits across multiple standards. The role focuses on assessing conformance of management systems, preparing reports, and ensuring timely completion of audit activities.

The position requires extensive overnight travel, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of IATF requirements, ISO 9001 processes and automotive core tools. You will mentor junior auditors and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4 years of full-time practical experience in quality assurance/QMS
• Experience with ISO 9001 processes and force of certification auditing
• Experience with management systems and 2nd/3rd party certifications as highly desired
• Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC)
• Experience in industries with similar scopes may be considered

Responsibilities

• Develops and submits scope of certification and audit agendas.
• Directs conduct of audits and activities of audit team.
• Assesses conformance of management systems to multiple standards.
• Documents audit results and prepares reports for submission.
• Trains and evaluates candidate auditors and auditors.
• Reviews customer responses to nonconformities for acceptance.
• Performs audits in accordance with DQS Inc. program and accreditation requirements.
