Job summary

Areas USA, Inc. is seeking a Concessions Lead to supervise an assigned concessions stand or multiple stands and to guide associates in delivering excellent guest service.

You will oversee opening/closing procedures, training, and enforcing standards while ensuring cleanliness, safety, and accurate inventories. Responsibilities include supervising staff per shift, resolving issues with guests and team, and maintaining food preparation timeliness and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in foodservice.
• Previous experience as a stand attendant or stand manager preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate concession associates on a per-shift basis.
• Inspect stands and portables for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Verify inventories before and after events and ensure proper food quantities.
• Open and close assigned areas and assist during busy periods.
• Address problems with guests or staff with management support.

Overview -As a Concessions Lead you will supervise an assigned concessions always stand or multiple stands and lead associates in the delivery of excellent guest service.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate activities of concession associates on a per shift basis, including training, counseling and enforcing work procedures and service standards.Inspect all stands and portables in the assigned area, ensuring all remain clean, sanitized, and safe.Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management as needed.Verifies stand inventories before and after each event, and as assigned.Verifies food preparation for timeliness, and proper quantities.Evaluates and documents performance of stand attendants.Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned area.Assists concession associates in serving guests as business levels demand.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year experience in foodservice position required; previous experience as a stand attendant or stand manager preferred.Previous cash handling/cashier experience required.Previous supervisory experience preferred.No high school diploma or GED required.Physical RequirementsConstant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.Frequently immerse hands in water, soaps and sanitizer.May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces.Hazards include but are not limited to cuts from broken glass, slips, trips, falls, cuts, burns, and strains.Noise level may be moderate-to-high during busy times.
