Job summary

The Supervisory Hydrologic Technician will lead the Fort Worth Field Unit within the Oklahoma Texas Water Science Center. Responsibilities include field trip planning, fiscal management, workforce planning, and mentoring, along with field and office work, and the design and installation of complex instrumentation to deliver high-quality hydrologic data.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Supervision of surface water, ground water, and water quality Field Office activities.
Consults with Data Chief on operational, management, and personnel issues.
Provides technical leadership for hydrologic field activities and office procedures.
Oversees field construction, installation, operation, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation.
Collaborates with management on Center and Water Mission area policies and procedures.
