Job summary

Chrysler Headquarters & Tech Center seeks a Hybrid Emissions Calibration Engineer to lead system-level calibration validation, HIL/dyno/vehicle commissioning, and cross-feature validation. You will coordinate tests, work with powertrain controls, and train new calibration engineers to ensure high-quality calibrations.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Engineering with automotive calibration experience and strong knowledge of powertrain systems, Matlab/Simulink, and CAN tools. Travel is 10–30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related degree.
• Automotive calibration experience via work or SAE activities.
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to work independently and with others.
• High analytical ability and creativity.
• Ability to balance multiple issues and follow a disciplined test plan for quality calibrations.
• Strong knowledge of powertrain systems.

Responsibilities

• System and cross-feature calibration and validation (Drive modes, SOC management, range estimation, EOL, HMI).
• First-run support for HIL, dynamometer, and vehicle properties.
• Lead validation of PCR package identifying HW/SW/calibration deficiencies before hard release.
• FE/Emissions support including dyno support, data review, issue/vehicle triage.
• Lead development trips to support milestones and calibration maturity for QGs.
• Data summaries from trips, daily drives, and fleet to support calibration maturity.
• AVL drive testing: scheduling, triage, and improvements implementation.
• Support all issue resolution (GIMs, IMS, etc.).
