Job summary

Total Air Service in Willis, TX seeks a full-time Lead HVAC Service Technician to lead field diagnostics, repairs and installations for residential and light commercial clients. You will coach teammates, troubleshoot complex issues, and support dispatch with expert guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Trade school graduate and EPA certification.
• 5+ years of residential and mid to heavy commercial HVAC experience.
• Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of current regulations within the field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use.
• Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the role.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs.
• Ladder work and tight space work required from time to time.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to wear PPE.
• Ability to handle high-priority calls & clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead service team while diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing in the field.
• Coach technicians during ride-alongs and assist with troubleshooting.
• Provide backup technical support and conduct quality control inspections.
• Support dispatch and office staff with technical questions.
• Resolve customer concerns and monitor department performance.
• Perform monthly fleet and inventory inspections.
• Lead monthly technical training class and mentor technicians and plumbers on SOPs.
