Rent Prosper in Winter Park, FL is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to service our single family rentals across Orlando. This role features a Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, a company vehicle, and pay at $35/hour.

You will diagnose, repair, and install HVAC systems, drive within the Orlando area, and provide reliable, resident-focused service. EPA certification and a valid license are required, with opportunities for bonuses and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and full system installations.
• Experience with older and varied HVAC systems (R-22, R-410A, straight cool, heat pump).
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC issues.
• Repair and replace components including coils, compressors, fans, drain lines.
• Perform full system installations when needed.
• Document time logs, photos, and materials used.

We're a locally owned Orlando real estate brokerage and property management company looking for a skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join our Single Family Rentals team. You'll be driving a company vehicle across Orlando running air conditioning service calls on our portfolio of single family homes, townhomes, condos, and duplexes.

HVAC is all we need from you. Everything else is a bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

Air conditioning is your primary focus every day. Residential service calls across Orlando — troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing older systems across a variety of brands and models.

HVAC and Air Conditioning:

Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues on older residential systems (10+ years old, various brands and models)

Repair, remove, and replace: coils, Freon, compressors, fans, capacitors, drain lines, and more

Full system installations including air handlers and compressors when needed

Experience with R-22, R-410A, straight cool, and heat pump systems

Other Skills Are a Plus. Not Required:

Appliances

Daily Requirements:

Log time in and time out for all jobs

Before and after photos of every repair

List all materials used and submit receipts

Positive attitude every single day. Do the right thing every time.

What We’re Looking For

7+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and full system installations

Experience with older and varied HVAC systems (R-22, R-410A, straight cool, heat pump, etc.)

EPA Certification required

Valid driver's license required (your own transportation to and from work each day)

Comfortable with significant daily driving as a core part of your workday

Comfortable with a pre-employment background screening

Repair mindset — you diagnose and fix. You don't upsell.

Positive communicator who takes pride in taking care of residents

Compensation and Benefits
