Honest Air Heating and Cooling in Hendersonville, TN, seeks an experienced HVAC Technician committed to craftsmanship and customer care. You will perform advanced diagnostics on complex systems and lead on-site repairs to ensure proper operation.

You will train and mentor staff, oversee job-site safety and code compliance, and coordinate service schedules with operations. A valid driver’s license and 3+ years in HVAC are required, with a focus on clear customer communication.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced diagnostics on complex HVAC systems to accurately identify and resolve issues.
• Train, mentor, and guide other HVAC staff in updated procedures, diagnostics, and repair methods.
• Oversee operations at the job site to ensure compliance with local, state, and industry codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage service schedules in collaboration with operations to deliver timely and effective service.

Key Tasks / Daily Activities

• Perform detailed inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of commercial and residential HVAC systems.
• Lead on-site repairs, ensuring high quality, efficient workmanship and correct system operation.
• Walk customers through your findings, explain proposed repair procedures, and provide maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of diagnostics, repairs, parts used, safety/compliance checks, and customer interactions.

About You – Qualifications & Traits

• Several years (ideally 3+ years) of HVAC experience, with a strong foundation in diagnostics and repair.
