Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical HVAC sheet-metal fabrication experience in a shop and/or field setting.
• Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
• Physical activities include standing, climbing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform various field and shop tasks associated with HVAC sheet metal.
• Install, renovate, and repair commercial/industrial HVAC air distribution systems.
• Organize material and manpower needs for jobs/projects.
• Layout duct work, fittings, and specialty items for job specifications.

Skills

HVAC sheet-metal fabrication experience

Knowledge of occupational hazards

Skill in care and use of sheet-metal tools

Ability to train apprentices
