Job summary

CT Mechanical is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our HVAC installation team in Gainesville, FL. You will oversee all sheet metal work on job sites, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with other trades to meet project timelines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial HVAC sheet metal, read blueprints, and hold an OSHA 10 certification. A strong leader who can drive workmanship and compliance is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal for commercial construction.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to read and interpret commercial blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Understand, comply with, and enforce OSHA, CT Mechanical safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate layout of HVAC systems with structures and other trades using construction documents.
• Set hangers, straps, and ductwork; install and seal duct systems; prepare systems for inspection and tests.
• Input time for Journeymen and helpers on the job site; assist in disciplinary actions when needed.
