B & I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to join Florida's fastest growing MEP contractor on large-scale commercial projects. You will oversee HVAC piping installation, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and lead a skilled crew.

Qualifications

• Five years HVAC piping experience with journeyman-level work and leadership.
• Strong understanding of codes, commercial HVAC systems, blueprints, and construction methods.
• Fluent reading of drawings, specs, and scheduling practices.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and scheduling/reporting software.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily crew activities to ensure quality, safety, and productivity.
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, submittals, and job orders to determine methods.
• Plan, organize, and assign tasks to optimize labor, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain records including timekeeping, logs, safety docs and labor tracking.
• Inspect work for codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to apprentices and journeymen.
• Identify issues or delays and communicate them to management.
• Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and secure.
• Provide accurate projections for job completion with Trade Supers.
