Modern Heating & Air Conditioning Services in New Haven seeks a Residential HVAC Lead Installer to manage end-to-end installations of high-efficiency boilers and heat pumps. You will lead a small crew, coordinate piping, venting, and sheet metal, and ensure compliance with CT codes.

A licensed path from plumbing is welcome, with cross-training opportunities in cooling and ductwork. We reward skilled craftsmen with competitive base pay, strong performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on installation experience in residential heating and mechanical systems
• 2+ years leading residential retrofit changeouts
• EPA Universal Certification required for handling refrigerants
• Ownership of personal hand tools and essential diagnostic equipment
• Experience with digital tablets/smartphones; ServiceTitan is a strong asset

Responsabilidades

• Lead soup-to-nuts residential installations across Greater New Haven, including high-efficiency boilers and heat pumps
• Execute clean piping, venting, and duct transitions
• Mentor and direct an installation apprentice on site
• Perform system start-ups, combustion efficiency testing, and refrigerant commissioning
• Ensure installations meet CT mechanical and fuel gas codes and pass inspections
• Conduct homeowner walkthroughs and explain maintenance care
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and gear in top condition
