Job summary

BAEHR Heating & Air is seeking a lead HVAC installer to manage residential and light commercial installations from start to finish in Grass Valley, CA. You will perform installation, service, maintenance, and startup tasks while ensuring compliance with codes and manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications include 3–5 years of lead installation experience, EPA 608 preferred, and ServiceTitan proficiency. Excellent customer service and the ability to lift 50+ pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school certification in HVAC preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred (training available).

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Perform installation, service, maintenance, and startup procedures for heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.
• Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform repairs when necessary.
• Coordinate job site activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Utilize ServiceTitan mobile software to manage documentation and workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, services performed, and customer interactions.
• Communicate technical information and recommendations clearly and professionally to customers.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and installation services.
• Stay current on HVAC industry trends, equipment, and emerging technologies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards
