Job summary

Bob Boldt HVAC is seeking a Lead Installer in Minnesota to tackle our most challenging installation and repair projects. You will run jobs from planning through closeout, and set the standard for the team with your field experience.

You’ll perform full split and package unit changeouts, zone system installs, duct work, and plumbing tasks, including tankless water heaters and boilers. You’ll train installation helpers and back up other techs as you mentor the next leader.

Qualifications

• Field experience required; lead jobs from planning through closeout.
• Knowledge of heat load calculations and duct sizing.
• Experience with split and package units, zone systems, and plumbing tasks.
• Able to train installation staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex HVAC installation projects with minimal supervision.
• Plan, measure, and design retrofits for homes.
• Diagnose refrigerant and electrical issues on site; braze/solder as needed.
• Train and back up other technicians.
