Job summary

Cool Techs is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to install residential heating and cooling systems with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will work on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experiences from start to finish.

You should have 3+ years of installation experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license + clean driving record.
• EPA certification required.
• Ability to train and mentor apprentices.
• Strong understanding of ductwork, HVAC system design, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring.
• Skilled in system testing and air balancing.
• Safety-focused and physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Self-motivated, organized, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Complete clean, professional installs that deliver a great customer experience from start to finish.
• Work as part of a team to stay on schedule and hit install deadlines without cutting corners.
• Read plans and layouts to ensure systems are installed correctly and up to code.
• Take pride in craftsmanship—leave every job site clean, organized, and done right.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed to ensure systems run properly on day one.
