Job description

Are you an experienced HVAC professional ready to take the lead on top-tier installations? At Thompson Heating & Air, we’re looking for a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Lead HVAC Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential and light commercial installations, and we pride ourselves on doing the job right the first time.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead and manage residential and commercial HVAC system installations from start to finish
2. Mentor and oversee junior installers and apprentices on the job site
3. Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and company guidelines
4. Maintain clean and organized work areas, vehicles, and equipment
5. Communicate clearly with customers and represent the company professionally
6. Troubleshoot system issues and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance

What We’re Looking For:

1. 4+ years of HVAC installation experience (lead or supervisory role)
2. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, controls, and tools
3. Valid EPA certification (Type II or Universal required)
4. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
6. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
