Job summary

Service Stars in Danbury, CT is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Lead Technician with an active Connecticut D-2 license and at least 4 years of residential install experience, including 2 years in a lead role. You will lead a crew, coordinate with the Install Manager, and own job-site execution from start to finish, ensuring safety and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Licensing: Active Connecticut D-2 license required.
• 4+ years of residential HVAC install experience.
• At least 2 years leading or guiding an install crew.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC changeouts, duct transitions, safety standards, and system start-ups.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an install crew on high-quality residential HVAC replacement and installation projects.
• Coordinate with the Install Manager to ensure equipment, materials, and staging are ready before site work begins.
• Own the job site: manage timelines, enforce safety protocols, and maintain craftsmanship standards.
• Perform physical tasks and work in seasonal conditions (lifting 50+ lbs, stairs, attics, crawlspaces).
