Job summary

Veteran Air - Air Conditioning, Electric, Generators, Plumbing & Drains is seeking an HVAC Installer to join our team in Florida. You will analyze work orders, travel schedules, and customer concerns to provide effective installations and service.

The role requires 1+ year of HVAC installer experience, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as an HVAC Installer.
• High School Diploma, GED, or Tech/Trade School strongly preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Strong problem-solving and installation troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze work orders, follow travel schedules, listen to concerns, and solve problems.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and communication flow.
• Ensure all necessary parts and equipment are requested in advance and that the truck is properly stocked for each installation job.
• Document work performed according to company procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to assistants or apprentices.
• Maintain personal tools and equipment, ensuring they are in operable condition.
• Stay up to date with HVAC codes and standards.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all work settings.
• Drive and maintain a box truck, ensuring it is properly serviced and operational.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
