Job summary

Air Control Home Services in Mohave County, AZ, seeks an experienced HVAC Installer to accurately install top-of-the-line heating and air equipment in customers' homes. This role requires a strong, customer-facing presence and a clean driving record.

You will work with dispatch and installation teams, mentor an apprentice to become a Lead Installer, maintain your truck and paperwork, and participate in ongoing training. EPA certification and 5+ years of installation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA certification with knowledge of installation and venting codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install top-of-the-line heating and air equipment in customers' homes.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, parts and installation teams.
• Teach an apprentice the skills to become a Lead Installer.
• Keep the company truck clean inside and out and inventory up to date.
• Complete paperwork accurately and join the on-call rotation.
• Maintain a professional appearance and drive safely.
• Participate in ongoing training and obtain required certifications with company support.

SIGN ON BONUS - $5,000! The sign on bonus is paid in installments at hire, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months.

*This applies to journeyman level technicians with 5+ years of experience. Candidates with less than 5 years of experience may qualify for a reduced bonus.

The Big Task:

You will accurately and efficiently install top of the line heating and air equipment in our customers’ homes.

Key Sub Tasks

• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.


• Ability to teach an apprentice the skills required to become a Lead Installer


• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.


• Keep your truck inventory up to date.


• Properly complete paperwork.


• Join the on-call rotation.


• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.


• Have and maintain a clean driving record.


• Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.


• Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Five (5) years of HVAC Installation Experience


• EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.


• Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including ability to draw simple diagrams, read blue prints and other diagrams.


• Clean, safe driving record.
