Job summary
Premier Indoor Comfort Systems in Whittier, NC is seeking an HVAC Installation Specialist to lead the installation and commissioning of heating, cooling, and air quality systems in residential and light commercial properties. You will supervise an installation helper and ensure flawless performance and code compliance.
This role offers a predictable schedule with overtime opportunities and a clear path to raises and promotions based on licensing and performance.
Qualifications
- Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting and component replacement, including low-voltage wiring.
- Able to clearly explain HVAC concepts to homeowners and property managers.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; legal work authorization in the U.S.
- EPA Universal or NATE certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle and remove failing residential and light commercial HVAC units.
- Install new high-efficiency equipment per manufacturer specs and codes.
- Fabricate and install sheet metal or flexible ductwork transitions.
- Connect line voltage, low-voltage wiring, gas piping, and refrigerant lines.
- Perform system tests, vacuums, and refrigerant charging.
- Walk clients through the new system and ensure a spotless, undamaged home.
