Job summary

Evergreen Gas Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Lead HVAC/Hearth Service Technician to join our team in Oregon. You will diagnose, service and repair residential HVAC and hearth systems, take ownership of service calls, and mentor other technicians in the field.

The position is full-time, day shift, with a starting pay of $30–$45 per hour DOE. We offer medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, a company vehicle where applicable, uniforms and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Hearth/fireplace service experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain residential HVAC and hearth systems.
• Troubleshoot complex heating, cooling and hearth issues and determine effective repair solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians when needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation; ensure safety and quality workmanship.
