Job summary

Collier County is seeking a Supervising HVAC Technician to oversee routine maintenance and construction for county facilities in Naples, Florida. The role supports multiple trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, monitor equipment performance, work with contractors, maintain records, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Must obtain and maintain a Journeyman license within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises HVAC technicians in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of systems.
• Oversees preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Coordinates HVAC contractors and reviews work for compliance with County requirements.
• Monitors equipment performance and assists with major repairs or replacements.
• Maintains records related to HVAC equipment, inspections, and replacements.
