Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a High Performance Computing (HPC) System Engineer to support large-scale HPC infrastructure and national security missions. You will architect and maintain GPU systems (H100/H200, NVIDIA stacks) and lead deployment, lifecycle, and security of critical compute resources deployed globally.

You will work with ML researchers and engineers, implement job schedulers, manage storage, and ensure performance, reliability, and compliance across complex environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and implementing large-scale compute systems.
• Experience with HPC concepts, clustered file systems, and high-speed interconnects.
• Proficiency with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and HPC tools.
• Automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet.
• Experience with HPC batch schedulers (SLURM/PBSPro).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and obtain a US Top Secret Clearance.
• Willingness to participate in security audits and patching.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy GPU infrastructure for large-scale HPC workloads.
• Rack, stack, cable, and configure multi-node GPU systems end-to-end.
• Configure HPC environments (Slurm, multi-user login, cluster management).
• Manage high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand/NDR, NVLink, NVSwitch).
• Configure and manage multi-petabyte storage platforms for AI/ML data.
• Install and maintain the software stack (CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Implement GPU virtualization and MIG for resource sharing.
• Troubleshoot performance, access, compute nodes, storage, and queues.
• Monitor GPU health with DCGM and resolve training bottlenecks.
