Job summary

Vinci4d, located in Palo Alto, is seeking a software engineer to build the next generation of simulation software for structural mechanics. You will work on developing nonlinear solvers and optimizing them for GPU execution, ensuring robust and efficient code to tackle major engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of experience in computational mechanics, a strong foundation in FEM, and proven skills in GPU programming. The environment is collaborative and offers a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in computational mechanics, scientific computing, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with large-deformation kinematics and nonlinear models.
• Proficiency in performance-critical codebases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tune solvers for solid mechanics.
• Optimize solvers for GPU execution and parallel performance.
• Collaborate with domain experts to implement physical models.
