Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Lead Configuration Manager to support software deployments for a large High Performance Computing program. The role entails managing CM for developmental and operational systems, creating baselines, and applying automated CM tools across the life cycle.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and is based at Fort Meade. The program encompasses cloud technologies, HPC, and enterprise architecture, with a mission critical national security focus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus six years CM experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus eight years CM experience, or HS diploma plus twelve years CM experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation; must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee configuration management of developmental and operational systems for a large HPC program.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to create and maintain CM baselines (development, test, production).
• Recommend and use automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures.
• Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures for system complexity and scope.
• Manage CM throughout the system life cycle from requirements baselines to end-of-life.
• Perform change control and configuration audits.
