Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Lakeland, FL to oversee daily housekeeping operations and uphold the highest cleanliness standards. You will lead a team, train staff, and coordinate with the GM and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and a memorable stay.

You’ll manage quality control, inventory, and cross-department collaboration while maintaining flexibility to cover weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management
• Preferred: Experience with hotel property management systems
• Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff and ensure they are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and ensure a seamless stay.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working hours including weekends and holidays.
