Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interacts with residents and staff in a professional, friendly and compassionate manner at all times.
• Provides light housekeeping of resident apartments, including changing/making bed, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, removing trash, vacuuming and mopping.
• Reports maintenance or repair needs as observed.
• Maintains stock of cleaning supplies.
• Provides training for new housekeepers.
• Prepares work schedules for housekeeping staff.
• Directs staff, answers questions and evaluates performance.
• Inspects work for quality control.
• Launders bed linens.
• Cleans and vacuums all common areas.
• Performs make-ready cleaning of vacant apartments.
• Maintains a clean work area and organized cart.
• Meets assigned time requirements.
• May serve breakfasts and lunches as needed.
• Follows safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Demonstrates ethics and accountability.
