Job summary

Piping Technology & Products is seeking a Lead Housekeeper for our Houston facility. This on-site role guides the housekeeping team and performs hands-on cleaning across the shop floor, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, shipping areas, and common areas.

You will direct daily tasks, train new staff on procedures and safety, and coordinate with Safety and Maintenance to maintain high standards. Requires 2+ years in housekeeping, manufacturing experience preferred; bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in housekeeping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior lead or senior-level experience is preferred.
• Ability to read product labels, SDS, procedures and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cleaning routes and ensure areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Direct on-the-floor task assignments and support team members.
• Train new staff on cleaning procedures, chemical handling and safety practices.
• Communicate progress and supply needs to Housekeeping Supervisor/maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and maintain records of tasks and supplies.
