We are hiring immediately for full-time LEAD HOUSEKEEPER positions.

Address: Ascension St. Agnes Hospital - 900 Caton Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229

Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedule. Days may vary, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. Must be able to work every other weekend/holiday. More details upon interview.

Requirement: At least 3 years of experience required.

Pay Range: $19.25 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Supervises, trains, and inspects the performance of assigned housekeeping staff to ensure all procedures are completed to the unit's standards. Assists where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Provides quality service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  2. Ensures assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly; documents late or absent employees.
  3. Resolves internal/external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  4. Documents call-offs, and replaces for any shift.
  5. Coordinates assigned staff breaks.
  6. Prepares and distributes assignment sheets to staff and reviews priorities. Communicates additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift.
  7. Assigns designated keys, radios, and beepers to assigned staff. Maintains accurate record of such assignments and ensures security of keys.
  8. Checks all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness, and mechanical problems. Instructs designated personnel to correct deficiencies.
  9. Inspects areas to confirm cleaning standards have been met.
  10. Assists staff to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service.
  11. Conducts staff training as assigned.
  12. Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
