Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Lead Housekeeper for The Barclay at Boynton Beach, a senior living community focused on luxurious, wellness‑oriented living and compassionate care for residents.

The Lead Housekeeper will oversee daily cleaning of resident rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment, proper chemical use, and timely availability of supplies, while coordinating with staff and adhering to staff schedules.

Qualifications

• Caring and service-minded approach to residents.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors in a care setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas as scheduled.
• Use and store cleaning chemicals and supplies per procedure and state requirements.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment; handle waste and replenishing supplies.
• Assist with coordinating housekeeping tasks with other staff.

Must have prior experience

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.
